Lady Trojan Sienna Allen has been named the Ohio D5 Player of the Year. She led the team in scoring in 4 tournament games in the state championship run, and her 20 points in the state semifinal vs. Fairland is tied with teammate Daysha Reid for the most points in a single game in the Final 4 by a Lady Trojan.
Sienna is only a junior and could become the all time leading scorer in PHS basketball history as she has already passed the 1,000 point mark.
Update 9/12/2025: Sienna accepted an offer to play basketball at Ohio University.
The Portsmouth Lady Trojans won the 1st state championship in Lady Trojan history with a convincing 53-38 win over Creston Norwayne in the 2025 D5 state championship game. Senior Daysha Reid scored 10, freshmen Salem Allen scored 3, and sophomore Brianna Shannon made a FT.
